2006 Zimmer Cryo 5 Chiller

The Cryo 5 Cold Air Device is intended to minimize pain and thermal injury during laser and dermatological treatments and for temporary topical anesthetical relief for injections. Unlike other cooling methods such as contact cooling, cryogen spray or ice packs, the Cryo 5 can cool the epidermis before, during and after laser energy has been applied.

The Cryo 5 is a mobile unit that cools room air to -32 degrees C. The air is then directed onto the tissue area via a flexible treatment hose. The light application tube can be connected to most laser hand pieces.The user can easily regulate the air flow for his personal needs. The adaptor for laser hand piece is adaptable up to 2cm Ø.

Cryo 5 functions with natural cost-free air and does operate without any consumables.
